Our home town
Office technology for Mackay business
Mackay is our home town and the supply base for the whole region. It is the recognised gateway to the Bowen Basin coalfields and one of the largest sugar producing areas in Australia, so the local business base runs from the mining equipment, technology and services firms out at Paget through to the accountants, medical practices and property offices around the CBD. All of them run on paper and data, and that is where we come in with copiers and printers, networking and phone systems.
Our workshop and our stock are here in town. When a multi-function copier jams part way through an end of month invoice run, or a network switch drops half an office off the WiFi, the technician who attends is based in Mackay, not in Rockhampton or Townsville. We are around 966 km from Brisbane and a long way from the capital city suppliers, which is why a local service team matters.
Paget is home to many of the region's mining equipment, technology and services businesses, and the offices attached to those workshops have different needs to a quiet professional suite in the CBD. We size the print fleet and design the network to the site, whether that is a heavy duty copier and rugged setup for an industrial office or a tidy WiFi 6 and VLAN build for a firm handling confidential client files.
For connectivity, our business internet runs on the Aussie Broadband network, from business NBN through to Enterprise Ethernet with 4G/5G failover, all ordered and supported from our Peel Street office so you are not dealing with a carrier call centre when something needs attention.

Built for Mackay
What makes this region different.
-
One number for all of it
Many offices manage separate vendors for phones, copiers, the network and the internet link. We cover them all in house, so there is one local team to call when any of it stops.
-
Paget sheds to CBD suites
An industrial office at Paget and a professional suite in the CBD place different demands on equipment. We specify the copier fleet and the network to the site instead of a one size fits all bundle.
Business internet in Mackay
Business internet across Mackay runs on the Aussie Broadband network, with business NBN available through the CBD and suburbs and Enterprise Ethernet for sites that need a guaranteed link. For coastal and harbour side offices we build in 4G/5G failover so a single line fault does not take the business offline.
